Bardonecchia is located at an altitude of 1,312 meters, and whether you're a snowshoer or a snowboarder, a fan of traditional slopes or freeride, a beginner or a pro, you'll always find snow to suit your skills on our slopes. In the Colomion-Les Arnauds and Melezet ski areas, you'll find wide trails through the forest, with a dense network of routes starting at 1,330 meters above sea level at Campo Smith and reaching the 2,400-meter-high plateaus of Vallon Cros for backcountry skiing. And if you're looking for breathtaking thrills with stunning views and adrenaline, just 5 minutes from the town center, you can take a shuttle to the Jafferau ski area, with its peak reaching 2,800 meters and predominantly off-piste runs. Put on your boots and... Let's go!
It doesn't matter if you're a beginner looking to learn the basics or an expert seeking more challenging runs, Bardonecchia is the right place for you. The resort offers numerous ski and snowboard schools with expert instructors ready to help you improve your skills on the slopes. And if you want to change perspective, take the free shuttle bus to the other side of our valley and continue the fun. With 100 km of slopes, including: 5 black runs, 18 red runs, and 16 blue runs.
With the "Bardonecchia" Ski Pass, you can explore 100 km of slopes and have access to 23 ski lifts. During the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, all the snowboard events were held in Bardonecchia, including parallel giant slalom, boardercross, and halfpipe. However, skiers will not be disappointed either. The largest of the two ski areas starts from Campo Smith, in the town center, and is particularly suitable for beginners. The well-maintained slopes are always covered with snow thanks to the altitude and modern snowmaking systems. The "Jafferau" area (2,800 m) is located on the other side of the resort and is highly appreciated by expert skiers. It offers excellent off-piste opportunities and an unrivaled view of the surrounding mountains.
In the evening, enjoy a grand New Year's Eve dinner with drinks and a party to celebrate the arrival of 2026 together!
If you decide to visit Bardonecchia and love thrilling experiences, don't forget to try the alpine roller coaster! This is a two-seat sled that can be used both in summer and winter. It offers an exciting descent through the woods of Campo Smith, with sharp turns, bumps, and changes in slope over a length of more than 1,000 meters. An activity suitable for the whole family, both children and adults.
In the Bardonecchia ski resort, in addition to snowboarding and freeride, you can enjoy breathtaking views and scenery while snowshoeing during excursions. Bardonecchia offers 3 marked routes, with areas in Colomion, Melezet, and Jafferau. The resort also has an ice skating rink, ideal for both beginners and experts. It’s even possible to skate at night, which is a spectacular experience! Ski mountaineering is a highlight, allowing you to explore glaciers and high-altitude ridges. Cross-country skiing trails are also available in the beautiful amphitheater of Pian del Colle and in the Valle Stretta, where you can have maximum fun
After breakfast, departure to respective destinations. End of services.
