On the site Isytravel.com, it is possible to book a vehicle rental. Vehicle availability is subject to actual stock levels for the chosen dates. Reservations are never accepted if made within 48 hours of the pickup. Therefore, the minimum booking period is 3 days before pickup. The system will not accept reservations within this timeframe.

The vehicle (if a bicycle) is made of a reliable structure, with compliance certification from the manufacturer, confirming its suitability for use. The vehicle must not be modified in any way, especially in sensitive areas that could compromise safe usage, as recommended by the manufacturer. Specifically, modifications to the following are not allowed:

• The saddle (type and position adjustments beyond permitted limits)
• The handlebars, including attachments
• The crank arms
• The rims and wheels

Even if permitted by the renter, the vehicle must be returned in the same condition it was provided. Any modifications must be restored; otherwise, a reasonable fee of €60.00 + VAT per hour, plus necessary materials, will be charged for restoration.

The rental duration is determined as follows: 1 day = 8 hours. The vehicle can be picked up from 9:30 AM and must be returned by 5:30 PM. Even if picked up at other times, the rental period ends at 5:30 PM with the closing of the office; after this time, an additional day will be charged. With prior telephone notice and agreement with the renter, the user can extend the rental period.

To confirm the reservation, the user must pay the total rental price according to the accepted payment methods (credit card, debit card, SEPA transfer, PayPal, ScalaPay). The indicated price is unitary and refers to a single vehicle.

In case of cancellation of the rental up to 3 days before the service, 50% of the rental cost will be refunded. After this deadline, no refund will be given to the user.

Bikelife, in accordance with industry regulations, guarantees the rental of an efficient vehicle suitable for its purpose, free from defects that may compromise its use. The rental includes telephone support and on-site assistance for structural damages, but not for damages caused by improper use. If the user requires recovery due to damage deemed non-structural after assessment by a Bikelife technician, the call-out fee in the Abruzzo region will be €100, plus costs for damage restoration. For recoveries outside the regional borders, a specific quote is recommended.

Each rented vehicle (if a bicycle) is not covered by insurance (liability, theft, fire). The user can insure the vehicle against usage damage for €70 (up to 5 days), which includes a €300 deductible. Theft, fire, and third-party damages are not insured, and the user is fully responsible for these costs. In case of damages (without insurance), the user must pay the full amount for damages caused by the use of the vehicle.

The rental includes, in addition to the rented vehicle with a water bottle holder (if a bicycle):

• Repair kit (pump, inner tube, tire levers, lock)

For any additional needs, the user can purchase the necessary materials at our store.

For the rental contract and before pickup, the following documents will be required:

• A valid identification document
• A credit card (not prepaid), on which the following amounts will be blocked as a deposit: €500 for carbon bikes and e-bikes, and €300 for aluminum bikes.
• Once the vehicle and equipment are returned and no damages are found, the blocked deposit amount will be released. In case of damages, the corresponding amount will be withheld immediately.
• In the event of theft or total damage, the user must provide a report issued by the competent authorities. The full blocked deposit will be retained, and the user is required to compensate for the difference up to the total value of the vehicle.

What is the purpose of the deposit? To cover costs in case of damage or theft of any components or accessories of the rented vehicle, except in the case of greater damage. If it is a bicycle, we will apply these costs:

• Standard aluminum bicycle: €150.00/€300.00 in case of damage
• Standard carbon bicycle: €300.00/€500.00 in case of damage
• Electric bike/dual suspension/gravel: €300.00/€500.00 in case of damage
• Electric bike battery: €300.00/€600.00 in case of damage
• Tool kit: €15.00 in case of damage, loss, or theft
• Unrepaired punctures: €15.00 for repair
• Water bottle holder: €15.00 in case of damage, loss, or theft
• Saddle: €45.00 in case of damage, loss, or theft
• Grips: €20.00 in case of damage, loss, or theft
• Pump: €10.00 in case of wear, loss, or theft
• Lock: €15.00 in case of damage, loss, or theft
• Side/front bags: €50.00 each in case of damage, loss, or theft
• Standard/SPD pedals: €30.00/€60.00 in case of wear, loss, or theft
• Helmet: €45.00 in case of damage, loss, or theft

In case of loss or theft of the bicycle or the electric bike battery, the renter reserves the right to charge the full amount. Other costs will be assessed at the time of return and/or subsequent inspection in the workshop.

• The helmet is mandatory for children up to 14 years old. The rules of the highway code apply on the road. 
• The care and efficiency of the rented vehicle are the responsibility of the user. 
• Rentals are available from our location. 
• For transport to hotels and/or facilities, costs will be calculated unless otherwise agreed. 
• For returns, in addition to the times agreed upon, the following fees will apply: €20 for up to 1 hour extra; €30 for up to 2 hours extra; €40 for up to 3 hours extra. Beyond that delay, a full day rental will be charged. 
• In any case, the rented item must be returned to our location, unless other arrangements are made. 
• Otherwise, recovery service fees will apply. In case of an accident and/or theft, the customer must immediately notify the rental company at the numbers 340 5064506 / 351 7586262 / 335 5941950. 
• FOR NIGHT RENTALS (from 6:00 PM onwards), RETURNS WILL OCCUR THE NEXT DAY AT 9:30 AM or according to the opening hours of our location.

This Contract is governed by Italian Law. In case of disputes regarding its interpretation or execution, the competent court will be that of Chieti. For matters not covered by this contract, the provisions of the Civil Code regarding the rental of movable goods will apply.
