Departure is scheduled for 9:30 a.m., with meeting at 9:15 a.m. in Santo Stefano di Sessanio, at the first parking area on the right along Via de’ Contra, where the e-bike handover will take place along with an initial safety briefing and instructions.
The tour continues towards the stunning Campo Imperatore plateau, crossing vast highlands and spectacular natural landscapes, passing through the Scoppaturo Canyon (also known as the Valianera Valley). Along the way, you will reach the famous filming locations of the western movie “They Call Me Trinity”, the Shepherd Statue in the Fonte Vetica area, and the village of Castel del Monte.
Several scenic stops are planned to admire the landscape, take photographs, and fully experience the Gran Sasso plateau, before returning to Santo Stefano di Sessanio.

By Car: take the A25 L’Aquila exit and follow the signs for Santo Stefano di Sessanio.
By Train: L’Aquila train station.
By Plane: Abruzzo Airport (Pescara) or Rome Fiumicino Airport.

During a group tour, you may meet participants from other countries with different habits. On a cycling tour, you might ride alongside people on e-bikes or traditional bikes: please respect everyone’s space and enjoy the experience. The tour is organized by local guides and operators, carefully selected to ensure a safe and memorable experience.
Remember to bring a valid passport or ID card, with an expiration date at least 6 months after the departure date. The itinerary may change before and/or during the trip. On group tours and in some small villages, it may be necessary to use scattered accommodations due to the lack of large facilities.
