What You’ll See on Your Trip
Trip Itinerary
More information regarding the time and meeting point for the first/last day will be provided after the booking.
Your adventure in the Seychelles begins today! Departure from Italy on a scheduled flight to Mahé, the main island of the archipelago. The flight will take overnight, and you will arrive the following day. During the flight, you can relax, enjoy the meals onboard, and prepare for the start of an unforgettable experience.
Arrival in Mahé and transfer to the hotel. If rooms are available upon arrival, they will be assigned. After some rest, we will head to the famous Beau Vallon beach for relaxation and a first swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Seychelles. After a day of sun and sea, we will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
The morning will be dedicated to a scenic hike in the Morne Seychellois National Park along the picturesque Copolia Trail. We'll walk through lush, shaded tropical forests, surrounded by majestic plants and breathtaking landscapes. For lunch, we’ll enjoy the experience of a typical local "take-away," offering a chance to savor the authentic flavors of the Seychelles in a simple and casual way. In the afternoon, we’ll head to Anse Takamaka to relax on another beautiful beach. A short coastal walk will lead us to an extraordinary natural pool perched on the edge of the sea, where we can immerse ourselves in a truly unique setting. At the end of the day, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After a hearty breakfast, we will begin the day with an adventure along the Mare Aux Cochons trail. This path will take us into the heart of the forest, surrounded by endemic plants and natural gardens. We will cross the island starting from the eastern coast and reach a pond nestled within lush vegetation, where we will encounter ancient stone bridges built by the early missionaries, waterfalls, natural pools, and a variety of tropical plants. As we continue, we will discover old distilleries hidden in the mountains, offering glimpses of a distant, almost prehistoric era. Our descent toward the western coast will provide breathtaking views of the sea, as we pass through mangroves and end the trail at the enchanting Port Glaud waterfalls, where we will also have the chance to dive into the cool waters. In the afternoon, we will head to the western coast to unwind in the beautiful bay of Port Launay, a protected beach renowned for its calm and crystal-clear waters. Here, we will have time to swim, relax, and snorkel, surrounded by blue skies, white sand, and the iconic granite rocks that plunge into the turquoise sea. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, we will set off on an exciting hike to the spectacular and secluded beach of Anse Major, accessible only by foot. The trail takes us through breathtaking landscapes, with views of cliffs overlooking the sea and granite boulders wrapped in lush vegetation and mist. Along the way, we’ll encounter natural granite slides plunging toward the ocean, and admire the striking contrast of colors: the black and reddish hues of the rocks, the deep blue of the sea, the vibrant green of the forest, and the shimmering reflections of the sky. Upon arrival, Anse Major will unveil itself as a true paradise, a pristine beach reserved for those who, like us, have trekked through the jungle to reach this well-deserved reward. In the afternoon, we can choose to return on foot along the same trail or take a boat ride back, offering a different perspective of the stunning scenery we explored earlier in the day. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, we will take a ferry to Praslin, the second-largest island in the Seychelles archipelago. Upon arrival, we will transfer to the hotel and check into our reserved rooms. The day will continue with a visit to the beautiful Anse Volbert beach, where we can relax and take a swim in its crystal-clear waters, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. In the afternoon, we will head to the Vallée de Mai for an excursion. A UNESCO World Heritage site, this natural reserve is known for being the only place in the world where the rare coco de mer palm grows naturally. During the visit, we will observe freshwater crabs and giant freshwater shrimp in the creek that runs through the park, as well as the rare black parrot, hummingbirds, and the island thrush, which can be spotted among the foliage. As we walk through the forest, we will come across a rich variety of plants, including cedars, ferns, pineapple plants, vanilla orchids, acacias, bamboo, guava, mangoes, and bananas. In the evening, we will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Today, we have an action-packed day ahead, full of various activities. We will start with a boat trip that combines trekking, snorkeling, discovering giant tortoises, and a delicious beachside lunch! Curieuse Island, a marine nature reserve, is reached with a short boat ride. Once known as Ile Rouge because of its red soil, the island has an irregular and rocky appearance. It once hosted a leper colony located at Anse St. Joseph, leaving the island isolated for decades, which adds to its unique charm. Before reaching Curieuse, we’ll enjoy a swim in the uninhabited St. Pierre Atoll, known for its exceptional marine life! On Curieuse, giant tortoises roam freely. The island is also an important nesting site for sea turtles. To complete this unforgettable excursion, we’ll have a beach barbecue with grilled fish. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
This day will be dedicated to an extraordinary hike connecting two of Praslin’s most beautiful beaches: Anse Lazio and Anse Georgette. The trail will take us through the island’s lush interior and along the coastline, immersing us in a primeval jungle that feels straight out of prehistory. We’ll begin at the stunning Anse Lazio, a long stretch of pristine white sand framed by casuarina and takamaka trees. The entire morning will be spent here, enjoying refreshing swims, snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, and a delightful lunch on the beach. In the early afternoon, we’ll set off on our hike. The trail, starting at the edge of the granite rocks at Anse Lazio, will lead us to Anse Georgette, one of the most breathtaking beaches in the Seychelles. Usually inaccessible by land, this beach is a hidden gem, and the views along the way are sure to leave every traveler speechless. We’ll wind down the afternoon relaxing on Anse Georgette, enjoying more swimming, snorkeling, and peaceful moments in this tropical paradise. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, transfer to the enchanting island of La Digue. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and set off to explore the island by bicycle. La Digue is renowned for having the most beautiful beaches in the Seychelles, as well as for the warm hospitality of its inhabitants and its serene and relaxed atmosphere. Here, bicycles and ox-drawn carts are preferred over cars, with fewer than 50 vehicles on the entire island! Life moves at a slower pace, whether you are relaxing on the idyllic beaches or cycling to a restaurant for a tropical lunch. We will begin our bike tour by riding along the entire coast, marveling at the natural wonders of La Digue and savoring every corner of its stunning beaches. Starting from Anse Severe, we will make our way to the most secluded beaches in the northern part of the island. Along the route, we’ll treat ourselves to a refreshing tropical fruit juice to recharge before continuing toward the southern area to explore more natural wonders. Return to the hotel in the evening, followed by dinner and overnight stay.
An exciting day awaits us, filled with biking, trekking, relaxing in natural pools, and enjoying a delightful lunch by the sea. In the morning, we’ll set off on bicycles toward the stunning beaches in the southern part of La Digue. Our first stop will be the breathtaking Grand Anse, followed by a short trek leading us to the serene Petit Anse and the extraordinary Anse Cocos, one of the island’s most pristine gems. Here, we’ll enjoy swimming in its crystal-clear waters, relaxing on the soft white sand, and diving into its enchanting natural pool—a true jewel of the Indian Ocean. Lunch will be served right on the beach, creating a unique and tranquil experience. In the afternoon, we’ll have plenty of time to soak up the sun and sea, choosing the beach that best suits our preferences among these three close-by treasures. At the end of the day, we’ll return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Today’s itinerary includes a challenging yet truly extraordinary trek that will take us to one of the most hidden and untouched beaches in the Seychelles. We will traverse secret trails, climb small rocky formations, and walk through both water and land. After passing through Anse Songe and Grand L’Anse, we will finally reach the legendary Anse Marron, where we will relax in a natural pool while our lunch is being prepared on the beach. In the afternoon, we will continue our trek, which will end with a final stretch through the water, taking us to the famous Anse Source d’Argent. This iconic beach, known for being the backdrop of some of the most stunning photographs of the Seychelles, will be the perfect place to watch the sunset. Return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Today will be dedicated to exploring the islands surrounding La Digue, with an exciting boat excursion that will take us to discover the fascinating "Sister Islands" (Grande Soeur and Petite Soeur) and Ile Cocos. During this excursion, we will have the opportunity to snorkel in crystal-clear waters, immersing ourselves among colorful fish, stunning corals, and, with a bit of luck, even sea turtles, making this underwater experience even more unforgettable. In the afternoon, we will return to La Digue for lunch and enjoy some free time for shopping and picking up souvenirs (La Digue is perfect for last-minute purchases), or we can relax on the beach and enjoy a few more hours of sun and sea before departure. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
In the morning, we will take the ferry from La Digue to Mahé. Upon arrival, we will explore Victoria, the smallest capital city in the world. Named after the famous Queen Victoria, it is also the only true city in the entire archipelago, with a population of 30,000. We will visit the bazaar, built in 1840, which is the heart of the city. We’ll also experience the unique coexistence of a Hindu temple, a Catholic cathedral, and an Anglican church, all within a few hundred meters. We will then stroll along the “Victorian” shopping streets for some last-minute purchases before enjoying a farewell lunch to bid adieu to these beautiful islands that have hosted us. In the afternoon, we will transfer to the airport for our return flight to Italy.
Arrival in Italy and end of services.
