What You’ll See on Your Trip
Trip Itinerary
More information regarding the time and meeting point for the first/last day will be provided after the booking.
Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon, you will meet the Mr. Biker team, consisting of guides, mechanics, and drivers, who will accompany you throughout the entire adventure from Saigon to Hoi An. In the afternoon, at 4:00 PM, a bike fitting is scheduled at Mr. Biker Trung Son. The day will end with a welcome dinner, providing the opportunity to meet the guides and support team. Overnight stay at the accommodation.
The day begins with a van transfer to a local café in the Mekong Delta, where we will find our bikes ready to go. Today's route mainly takes us under the shade of coconut palms, offering protection from the hot Mekong sun. We will cycle across numerous bridges over small canals, admiring the lush vegetation and the characteristic agricultural landscapes of the area. Along the way, we will stop at a factory that produces coconut-derived products to learn about local traditions. We'll take a break for lunch before continuing our journey. In the afternoon, the landscape changes: the coconut fields give way to picturesque homes and villages in the delta. The route continues along flat, paved roads, with some narrower sections through the coconut plantations, offering an interesting challenge. Upon arrival in Tra Vinh City, we'll have time to relax before enjoying dinner. Overnight stay in a local accommodation.
After breakfast, we will begin our day with a short ride to Ba Om Pond, a charming 800-year-old Khmer architectural wonder, famous for its seasonal lotus flowers. We will continue our journey through fertile plains, surrounded by rice fields and canals, immersed in one of the most productive areas of Vietnam. This region is known as the second largest rice producer in the country. Along the way, we will stop for lunch before resuming our adventure. In the afternoon, we will head to Can Tho city with a van transfer. Once there, you will have time to explore the city, enjoy the panoramic views from rooftop restaurants, and experience the vibrant atmosphere of the local night markets. The evening is free for dinner at your leisure, and overnight accommodation will be provided.
After breakfast, the day will be divided into two parts: the morning on the water and the afternoon on land. Starting from Can Tho, we will board a boat to head towards the famous Cai Rang floating market. During the tour, we will have time to explore the market and shop with local vendors. Once the boat tour is finished, we will get on our bikes and cycle along the river on quiet, paved roads, surrounded by fruit gardens lining the countryside paths. As we continue, the shaded trails will give way to vast rice fields, offering us a beautiful and serene view. This stretch will allow us to immerse ourselves in the rural landscape, often without encountering anyone for kilometers, creating an atmosphere of calm and reflection. The last stop of the day will be at the Bang Lang Stork Sanctuary. We will take a break for lunch before continuing our journey. In the afternoon, we will head towards Long Xuyen, where we will have time to explore the area and relax. The day will conclude with dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
After a delicious local breakfast, we will transfer by private shuttle to the historic region that was recognized as the Southern Kingdom of Vietnam 2000 years ago. We will visit a local museum to learn more about the history of this fascinating area. Next, we will begin our journey to the Tra Su Nature Reserve and Bird Sanctuary. Along the way, we will pass through farmland that is frequently flooded, so much of the route will be on raised, reinforced platforms, allowing us to admire the surrounding landscape. We will arrive at Tra Su in the early afternoon, when most of the tourists will have already left. This will give us the opportunity to walk along a floating bridge, surrounded by brightly colored algae, and take a guided boat tour through the peaceful, shaded canals of the reserve. After this relaxing experience, it will be time for lunch. Then, we will get back on our bikes to continue toward Chau Doc. Alternatively, an air-conditioned van will be available for transfer, in case you prefer to end the day in comfort. The evening will conclude with dinner and overnight accommodation.
Today will be a day of rest, during which you will enjoy a peaceful boat ride to Cambodia. After breakfast, you will board the boat and have the opportunity to admire the scenery as you travel towards Phnom Penh. During the journey, snacks and lunch will be provided. Remember to bring a printed copy of your e-Visa and 35 USD in cash (undamaged) for the border. Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, you will have the rest of the day to explore the capital of Cambodia at your leisure. The day will end with a free dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll take a van to the Mekong pier, where you'll start a boat tour upstream along the Mekong River to Koh Dach (Mekong Island), the starting point for your cycling route. You’ll ride through villages on the island, stopping to visit locals engaged in weaving, making scarves, sarongs, and other silk products. After lunch, you'll also have the chance to visit a local pagoda and a school. You’ll then cross the river by local ferry to continue cycling along the riverside before being transferred by van to Sambo Prei Kuk in Kampong Thom for dinner and an overnight stay in a local home with villagers.
After breakfast, you will depart from your hotel and cycle towards the UNESCO-listed Sambor Prei Kuk Temple, a complex of around one hundred brick Hindu temples set in the forest. Afterward, you will continue your ride through the peaceful Cambodian countryside, enjoying authentic views of local life. After lunch, you will head towards Siem Reap, where our driver will be waiting for your final transfer. The day will conclude with dinner and overnight accommodation.
After breakfast, you will begin a day dedicated to a guided cycling tour of Angkor Wat and the other temples in the Angkor Temple Complex. A local cycling guide will accompany you along the route, sharing fascinating information and anecdotes about the site, which is one of the two remaining Wonders of the World. During the tour, you will have a break for lunch. The day will conclude with a free dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, we will cycle to Krabei Riel village, passing through rice fields, traditional Khmer houses, and pagodas. After lunch, we will continue our bike ride to Tonle Sap Lake, where we will board a local boat for a slow cruise to the floating village of Mechrey. After visiting the village, we will take the boat back to the pier. From there, you will have the option to either continue by bike or take a van to Siem Reap. In the evening, we will conclude the day with a farewell dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, on this last day, you will have the opportunity to relax and explore the city on your own before continuing your travels or departing for your journey back home. End of services.
