Arrive in London and, with an overnight train, head to the stunning Scottish Highlands.

The trek will take us to the highest peaks in Scotland, offering a panoramic view of the entire route ahead. Along the way, we'll encounter local wildlife, such as deer, and, if we're lucky, we may spot the Golden Eagles, the park's symbol. The day will end with a field dinner and overnight camping.

A downhill day, marked by a truly stunning change of scenery. We will enter a Scottish pine forest, an untouched natural environment, before reaching our camping spot. If the weather allows, we’ll have the chance to relax and take a dip in the stream. The evening will end with a field dinner and overnight camping.

Today we return to civilization, arriving in Braemar, one of the historic villages of the Highlands, by midday. We will stay here for two nights. Free dinner and overnight camping.

A full day immersed in the Highland Games! From morning to evening, you'll experience the excitement of traditional Scottish games, with log throwing, bagpipe parades, stone put challenges, and much more. A unique experience that will make you feel part of this historic tradition. Free dinner and overnight camping.

We resume our journey, immersing ourselves in the wild landscape of the Highlands, marked by arctic vegetation and the presence of grouse. We will spend the night near a cottage, in an area once frequently visited by Prince Charles during his walks. Field dinner and overnight camping.

Today we reach the wildest part of the journey. The route will take us to several glacier-carved peaks, where, with a bit of silence, we’ll have the chance to spot the arctic ptarmigans. We will set up camp in an exclusive and stunning location, one that is particularly special to us. Field dinner and overnight camping.

The route will be easy and relaxing, gradually taking us out of the Cairngorms National Park. Along the way, we'll have the chance to visit the ruins of an ancient castle before reaching the village of Ballater. Afterward, we'll transfer by bus to Aberdeen, where we will board the overnight train to London.

Must-Know Details

By Plane: London Airport

Open to adult travelers with some training, subject to an interview with the Guides. You will travel in a group, with full support from the agency and accompanied by 2 Environmental Hiking Guides. During a group holiday, you may meet people from different countries with customs different from your own. Respect everyone's space and have fun. The tour is organized by local Guides and Operators, carefully selected for you.
Remember to bring a passport with an expiration date of at least 6 months from the departure date. The itinerary may be subject to changes before and/or during the trip. On a group trip and in some particular villages, it may be necessary to have scattered accommodation due to the lack of large facilities. You will have a kit with a stove and pot available for cooking your dinner. We will advise you on what to buy, taking any dietary intolerances into account. Tourist taxes are to be paid on site. An additional €250 for the shared expenses will be added to the price.
