The first day of trekking begins from the center of Mattinata, where we will start exploring the Gargano National Park. We will cross landscapes that range from terraced fields to centuries-old olive groves, passing through low Mediterranean scrub and oak forests, until we reach the ancient Abbey of Monte Sacro. At the end of the day, we will be welcomed by a typical accommodation where we can enjoy a dinner and an overnight stay after a day of hiking.
After breakfast, we will begin our hike into the heart of the Gargano National Park. We will venture into the Foresta Umbra, one of the most fascinating and pristine areas of the promontory, where ancient beeches and shaded trails provide a unique setting. The trekking day will end at an old forest barracks, where a typical dinner will be served to conclude the day in the best way. Overnight stay at the accommodation.
The final day of the trek begins with breakfast and takes us along a long scenic route towards the Adriatic coast, with stunning views of the sea. We will finally reach the picturesque village of Peschici, where our journey ends. After reaching the final destination, a transfer will take us back to Mattinata, where our adventure concludes.
